Great Weekend for Storey County! : February 23, 2020

Greetings,

This was a winning weekend for the youth of Storey County. We dominated in two events this weekend.

VC SILVER CIRCUITS

Our local robotics team came in First Place this weekend at the Robotics State Championships in Reno and are now going back to the World Championships this year in Houston as a rookie FTC team. The 10 kids are a mix of Virginia City and Home School students.

VC MUCKERS GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM

Our VCHS Girls Varsity team secured a spot at the State Championships next week in Reno by defeating Tonopah ( 54-28 ) & Smith Valley ( 38-36 ). Great job to the teams, the cheerleaders & the coaches!
